In Fallout: New Vegas players will come across multiple NPCs offering their weapon repair services at different skill levels. A quick summary of where to find repairs.
Top NPCs for Weapon Repairs
Knight – Mojave Outpost, High Repair but his skill tops out at 100 so isnt the very best for full repairs.
Old Lady Gibson – located at the Gibson Scrap Yard; has a skill of 65 in Repair, and is also a vendor.
Mick – Found at Mick & Ralph’s in Freeside, he repairs up to 75.000
The Calamity – at Jacobstown she may repair items up to a skill level of 60.
Raul Tejada : Raul’s Shack, also a Rep 100 can therefore not be repaired while companionized.
Paladin Sato – Can be found at the Brotherhood of Steel Safehouse, he also has the highest repair skill at 100.
Samuel Kerr – Less effective for high end repairs, only 40 repair skill at 188 Trading Post.
Repair Methods
Players will also have many ways to fix their gear as well:
Manual Repair – This is done by using the same items, or by using the Jury Rigging perk to combine like with like.
Weapon Repair Kits – Like with the armor kits above, these are consumables that can be crafted to use when repairing weapons.
After all, you must replenish your cache somehow and finding the appropriate NPC to fill it is the lifeblood of New Vegas.
