Types of Trident Repair Techniques
Anvil Fix: You can by the join of two damaged tridents in an Anvil. This is the preferred method of most 2Players as it keeps any enchantments onthe trident. But that build doesn’t use the power of Prismarine.

Grindstone Formula: It is also possible to combine two damaged tridents at a grindstones, but that will remove any enchantments2. The following method works fine as per the above but not so much when it comes to enchanted tridents
Fixing Tridents with Prismarine
There are no official game mechanics in place at the time of this writing to repair tridents with Prismarine Shards, but suggestions within community have recommended it. Players have some who say that each use of Prismarine Shards should repair a small part of the durability in tridents-making upgrades to both gameplay and resource management568

This proposed use of Prismarine in repairs has been bandied around on the feedback site and other online forums (threads found here) so it’s no wonder Ryan sees untapped potential with adding that element to play. They reason that this could be a more useful way to keep tridents form being dependant only on enchantments or having extra tridents56.
Some ways of repairing tridents with Prismarine Shards, including crafting them in the Anvil seemingly do not work currently. But it is also a huge fan idea amongst the Minecraft community and we can expect to see some server modification like this soon enough! The players take this as a challenge and continue to try different methods that could help them keep tridents working thereby displaying how the game is dynamic and ever-evolving.
