Weapon Durability Verus Enchantment Loss
Zero Legacy Durability: ESO weapons do not feature a legacy-based durability system prompting physical repairs. Or, as one might write in a wish list: “These are not things that run out of magic over time or with use in combat…. It’s a critical distinction for players to learn (so you don’t get uselessly frustrated 56).
Enchantments and Charges – Each enchanted weapon has a certain amount of charges, dependant on the type of enchantment. If the user runs out of these charges, then it will not deal that enchanted damage until you recharge it. That can cause players to think their weapon is broken, when in reality it just needs some juice45.
Enchanting/ Soul Gems: Enchantment-Repair -In order to revive your weapon enchantment, you need a soul gem. The full functionality of the weapon can be restored by recharging it at a fully soul gem. This is done via an unconventional system, one in which players pay with bits and bobs they pick up during play rather than purchasing traditional restoration items from vendors47.
Repair Options Available
How to use Soul Gems: Players can recharge a weapon by selecting the appropriate Soul Gem in their inventory and then clicking on the weapon they wish to refill. It restores the enchantment of a weapon, yet51 without restoring its physical condition.weapon repair (ad)
Merchant Services- Weapons themselves cannot be repaired after losing durability, however Soul Gems or other item can be bought from general merchants (34) in order to manage equipment effectively.
Scaling Issues: If you drastically outlevel beam weapons (or the game scales down your stats for balance) players will find that their guns do less and take longer to kill. That’s not physical damage, but merely the game resetting some mechanics to cope with player progression36.
