Another very crucial trait is the intelligence with which Thanos fights. So overall, the Infinity Gauntlet may supply him with some extra power but Thanos is pretty robust even without it. His tremendous strength, combat abilities and strategic mind have made him always a formidable foe in any one-to-one fight.
