California Ammunition Sales Regulations In California, ammunition sales are regulated by laws passed with the goal of protecting public safety.ammunition regulations (ad) On January 1, 2018 the sale of more than an aggregate total of 500 rounds per thirty-day (30) period requires a valid Ammunition Vendor License. The license does require all transactions to occur in person which means no online sales of ammunition.
Requirements To Sell Ammunition:
Ammunition Vendor License – bammo vendors must obtain this special license if they sell more than 500 rounds each month.
Vendor must have ability to do background check before finishing sales.
