Things to Consider While Selecting Adhesives
Levels Of Traffic: If there is traffic, use a high-traffic adhesive that would bond the carpet in place for longer.
Dry Time: Quick-drying glues are best for projects that will be used shortly after drying.
Flexibility: If the carpet will need to be stretched or repositioned from time to time, latex paint and matte medium are very good flexible options.
In general, although there are many adhesives that can be used on carpets the choice of adhesive will vary depending upon requirements such as strength and longevity or pliability.
