Gulfstream’s Broad Service Network Gulfstream Aerospace also runs its factory-owned service network that is considered the largest in business aviation. It consists of 14 company-owned service centers worldwide, along with an additional 20 authorized warranty facilities. These sites are conveniently placed to offer substantial local resources for Gulfstream aircraft owners and provide immediate access to maintenance services.

The company has recently been increasing the range of its service capabilities and installation of new centers as well as in-house overhaul capacity, to cater for the incremental amount offered by an expanding fleet. To that end, Gulfstream announced last month it would open a new 225,000-sq-ft service center in Mesa, Arizona–evidence of the manufacturer’s dedication to customer support. It has also made changes in its overseas business, for example canceling a servicing center in Beijing and growing the number of authorized warranty facilities in China.

These centers — operated by Gulfstream Field and Airborne Support Teams (FAST) specialists — are staffed with highly trained technicians who have the expertise required to reduce aircraft downtime. The infrastructure is strong enough to handle existing aircraft and will allow Gulfstream to manage future service requirements, as its fleet expands in size and capability35.
