Gold Medal Requirements

How To Get the Gold Medal In Order to get the gold medal, players must do these objectives in-mission:

Time: Finish the assignment in 6 minutes and 30 seconds or less.

Trail Blazer: Shoot the trail of gasoline left by a car that is fleeing.

Objective: Headshots — Kill 6 enemies with head-shots.

Precision: Accurate to 70% or More

Strategies for Success

Time Management – You want to skip the cutscenes and ride in a car instead of your plane, so choose one from Vespucci Beach!

Combat Tips:

Fastest way to kill — you use a semi-automatic rifle that may reduce your accuracy.

Shoot when behind cover in the Vagos encounters, make sure you headshot to RS etc for Gold.

Activate Franklin’s special ability to slow time when fighting the bike during the chase scene so you can take your shots with better accuracy.

Mission Walkthrough

Post-mission, head to Simeon’s dealership.

Vespucci Beach: Drive to Vespucci beach and then near the stunt series marker.

Jump over fence, search garages while side by to Lamar.

Fight Vagos; shoot gas to use it as a powder charge against him.

Chase down Esteban Jimenez on his bike and kill him to successfully finish the mission.

As a mission, it works as both an introduction to combat mechanics and begins the character development of Franklin along with establishing his standing in relation to Lamar (and Simeon).
