Questline Completion
Criterion 1: Players must have completed the Mechagon intro questline until Welcome to the Resistance. Which is important, as reputation gains in Mechagon are obviously ongoing14.
Daily Quests and World Quests
When the main questline is over, players can access several daily quests. So I decided to start doing daily quests over there, each broken quest gives you 75 reputation point. One of the best ways to gain reputation points overtime is by taking these quests often13.
Killing Rare Enemies
For an alternative way of earning reputation, players can include defeating rare enemies all around Mechagon. Every rare killed for the first time give 75 reputation points. This comes out to 36 rare spawns, killing each one can give you a big chunk of some much-needed rep for up to I think it was like 2,700, the first time they are killed.13
Pet Battles
Another way to earn reputation is by finishing elite pet battles. You can do up to 8 elite pet battles, each one counts as a special quest and you get an item per victory that grants bonus rep from all broken isles reputations by +75. This way can help you earn up to 2.000 reputation points in total if all battles are winning14
Utilizing Contracts
Contract: Rustbolt Resistance grants an extra 10 reputation per world quests completed in other zones such as Kul Tiras or Zandalar Players will have this contract Unlocked after reaching the Friendly standing with Rustbolt Resistance14.
Reputation Buffs
When performing things like the Darkmoon Faire, this grants you a powerful 10% reputation buff for an hour. In addition, some specific events will give you up to 50% more reputation from completing world quests.
Maximizing Reputation Gain
In order to make the most efficient use of playing time, players should seek out those new daily quests (specifically the more profitable versions), spend some quality rare monster-hunting or pet battling while reaping any reputation-boosting buffs and/or events on offer.
These techniques should empower players to maximize their reputation level with the Rustbolt Resistance and take advantage of WoW-exclusive items, titles and achievements.
