Basic Troubleshooting Steps

Quit Outlook: Make sure to close all open outlook and office applications before you begin repairing process.

Verify your internet connection.

Turn off any problematic add-ins

Confirm your email account settings are correctly entered.

If the above methods do not work, try creating a new Outlook profile.
