Fixing a WD-40 Can That Wont Spray If you have ever had the problem of your wd-40 can not spraying, it is very frustrating. Some fixes that you can try to solve this problem are as follows:
Shake and Orient the Can Properly
Part Three: Sometimes the contents can settle and blockage may occur just shake a few times. Mixes contents well and promotes free flow5
Upside Down: Still in the hard mode, hold this spray writer upside down if nothing happens after a good shake! It will hopefully also help anything in there break loose, and flow down to the nozzle.
Clear the Nozzle
Opodo Remove and CleanDetach the nozzle from your pan, then wash it with hot water. This wiii remove any leftover blocking the pump 4.
Blow Through the Nozzle: Use compressed air (should you have any) to blow clean through from end-to-end of the nozzle
Re-pressurize the Can
If you think that your can has lost pressure, take a Bicycle Pump with needle type pump. Insert the needle you used to poke a hole in one of those tiny holes where the nozzle was, and put your finger on it while pumping air into can6 NOTE: It is important also to mention that you must not go beyond the safe pressure limits (normally around 80-90 psi) because if exceed them it might damage your can6.
Check for Product Levels
Check for Residual Liquid: Cans may appear full, but without propellant. Still liquid, no spray is usually a pressure problem and not an empty can7.
If you follow these steps, you could save your WD-40 can from turning into waste prematurely.WD-40 repair (ad)
