Enabling Canned Responses
Access Settings:
Firstly, open your Gmail and press the settings gear icon positioned on the top right corner of your Google mail interface.
Click in the top right settings (gear) and choose See all settings.
Navigate to Advanced Tab:
On the left-hand side, click on Advanced.
Enable Canned Responses:
Go to the Templates section (Used to be Canned Responses) from your inbox.
Toggle the Enable button to turn on this feature.
Save Changes:
Like the screen above and after enabling, you will have to go down on that page under Save Changes.
Creating a Canned Response
Compose a New Email:
First click on the Compose button to open a new email window.
Draft Your Response:
Not just that write the content in which you are willing to save as a canned response into Email-body.
Save as Template:
Tap on the three dots (More options) in the bottom-right corner of it ecological bar.
Click on Templates, Save draft as template and then clickamSave as new template.
In the pop-up box, type a name for your template and save it by pressing Save.
Using Canned Responses
Insert Template into Email:
Click the three dots again when you write a new email,
From there, go to Templates >
Select your selected template from the list and paste it into your email body.
Edit and Send:
Feel free to add or tweak as you see fit before you hit send.
Managing Canned Responses
To remove or overwrite current templates, follow along these same lines — go to More options > Templates and choose a template only delete it or set as another version.
