There are three phases of recovery 1.
Initial Recovery (0-2 Weeks):

Patients are given range of motion exercises day 1 and encourage to WBAT with the crutches.
Rehabilitation in Earlier Phases (Weeks 2-4)
Inclusion of specific sports exercises and running training.
It is important to build the quadriceps, hamstrings and core muscles during this phase.
Stage 3— Strengthening: This begins at about 1 month in Weaken and lasts for another month to 6 weeks.
Patients gradually advance to more aggressive strength training and sports-specific drills.
Competitive sports should only be allowed once full range of motion and equal strength in both legs is established.

Patients are able to begin jogging 6 weeks after surgery or low-impact sports.
Exercise should be introduced slowly, watching for signs of pain or swelling.
